Alberto Frigo Cana (1979) was born in the alps. After studying at Emily Carr Institute of Art and Design in Canada he got a Master of Science in Art and Technology at Chalmers University and then a PhD in Critical and Cultural Theory at Sodertorn Universtiy in Sweden. He taught at both universities and at Konstfack College of Art and Design before teaching at Tongji University in China. In the United States he worked on research projects at Harvard Graduate School of Design and became project leader at MIT Design Lab. He was awarded at Ars Electronica and has been exhibited at the Hasselblad foundation and other museums until he decided to focus on more ecological projects promoting a more indigenous way of life.
